1 Killed In 5-Vehicle Crash In Loveland
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators are looking into the cause of a deadly accident in Loveland Wednesday morning.
According to Loveland police, the five-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of 14th Street and South Lincoln Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m. Investigators say a speeding SUV crashed into one vehicle and then rolled, causing a chain reaction.
The driver of the SUV was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed. Two adults and a toddler in another vehicle were injured.
Police haven't released the name of the person who was killed.
"Neither drug nor alcohol impairment are considered contributing factors to the crash," police said in a statement.
