1 Killed, 1 Critical In Head-On Crash In Weld County
WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - One person is dead after a head-on accident Monday morning in Weld County.
Police say an SUV crossed into oncoming traffic hitting a red truck head-on at the intersection of Weld County roads 42 and 49.
The driver of the truck was killed. The driver of the SUV is in critical condition.
Police are working to figure out what caused the SUV to go into oncoming traffic. It's not clear if drugs, alcohol or speed were a factor in the crash.
No names have been released.
