Be inspired by women in STEM! CBS Colorado, in partnership with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver and the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, is excited to present the 10th Annual Girls & Science. This year's program will run throughout the month of March and will offer an in-person kick-off event, video presentations and activity kits for girls. Female mentors will share their personal experiences and encourage girls and their families to learn more about careers in STEM. Girls thINC Outside the Box Activity Kits
Families have the opportunity to go online to register for "Girls thINC Outside the Box" activity kits through Girls Inc. of Metro Denver. Girls who register for the GIRLS thINC Outside the Box activity kits have access to instructional videos and trained Girls Inc. educators to support their experience at home. A Meet the Mentor special aired on March 21 on the CBS News Colorado stream. The special highlights Girls & Science female mentors and their careers in STEM.
CBS Colorado will stream a Girls & Science Community Conversation on Friday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. on CBS News Colorado. (This is a rescheduled time due to Thursday's snowstorm). The conversation will feature female mentors who will share their experiences in STEM fields with Girls Inc. of Metro Denver's youth participants.
