Ten children join forever families as Cook County celebrates National Adoption Day
The Cook County Circuit Court on Friday celebrated National Adoption Day by uniting 10 children with eight families. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services found more children their forever homes in 2024 than in any of the previous four years.
