Supreme Court rules Trump has some immunity in federal election interference case

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Monday that presidents have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts, but no immunity for unofficial acts, a landmark decision in the height of an election season that could further delay the start of former President Trump's criminal trial in Washington, D.C.
