It was another chaotic day at City Hall, as Mayor Brandon Johnson ended the City Council meeting after only 20 minutes without calling his latest 2025 budget plan for a vote, because he still doesn't have the votes to pass it. The council will meet again on Monday, but many alders are doubtful a deal can be made by then.
