Proposed ordinance would lower Chicago default speed limit to 25 mph
A new proposal before the City Council could have Chicago drivers pumping the brakes. Ald. Daniel La Spata (1st) has introduced an ordinance to reduce the default speed limit from 30 mph to 25 mph.
