Power outage leaves most of Puerto Rico in the dark on New Year's Eve

Nearly all of Puerto Rico was left in the dark on New Year’s Eve. About 1.2 million people lost electricity, and energy officials said it could take two days to get power back to everyone, although it has already been restored to at least half of customers, including dozens of hospitals, medical centers and two airports.
