Gold Star Families Memorial monument unveiled in Naperville
Ahead of Memorial Day, a new monument honoring Gold Star Families will be unveiled Saturday in Naperville. It will be displayed in Veterans Park, and recognize local military members who've died in service, along with their families. Denise Williams, President of the Illinois Chapter of American Gold Star Mothers, will deliver the keynote address.
