Families & teachers rally to support longer contracts for Chicago charter schools
The Chicago Board of Education is voting Thursday on contract renewals for nearly 50 charter schools. Parents and charter school operators are asking the school board to renew contracts for up to 10 years, more than twice as long as the Chicago Public Schools are proposing.
