Chicago area doctor shares experience of humanitarian crisis in Gaza
On Thursday an Israeli airstrike hit a United Nations school inside a refugee camp where 6,000 displaced Palestinians were sheltering. The strike killed more than 30 people, including children. Dr. Thaer Ahmad, emergency medical doctor with the Chicago-area nonprofit MediGlobal, describes what happened during his time in Gaza in between strikes.
