Shots were fired at Chicago Police officers early Saturday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
A 16-year-old boy was shot to death and a 17-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a South Chicago shooting Monday evening. The two were standing outside in the 7900 block of South Merrill Avenue about 5:30 p.m. when a red vehicle pulled up and a male got out and shot them, police said.
A 50-year-old man was killed and a 38-year-old man was injured in a shooting in the North Lawndale neighborhood Wednesday night. About 9:50 p.m., the two men were standing on the sidewalk in the 3600 block of West 16th Street when two males walked up and opened fire, police said.

Two men, ages 31 and 35, were standing on a sidewalk Friday night in the 0-100 block of South Kostner when they heard gunshots and felt pain, police said. The older man, later identified as Michael Harrison, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
