On Tuesday, a different kind of festival was rocking Washington Park on Chicago's South Side. The party was on at the International Festival of Life. The event celebrates the city's Afro-Caribbean diaspora.
The event runs from Saturday through Tuesday. Gates open daily from noon until 10 p.m.
The 30th African and Caribbean International Festival of Life kicks off this weekend at Washington Park starting Saturday and lasts through Tuesday. The festival's founder and president Ephraim Martin spoke with CBS 2 on what attendees can expect this year.
