A mother and her three adult daughters were fatally shot in what police called an act of domestic violence inside a home in Tinley Park on Sunday. The victims were identified as Majeda Kassem, 53; Halema Kassem, 25; Hanan Kassem, 24; and Zahia Kassem, 25.

Volunteers called the Tinley Park Fire Department who came and quickly put out the fire.
A fire forced the closure of an animal shelter in southwest suburban Tinley Park, and left more than 100 animals hospitalized. The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the laundry room at P.A.W.S. Tinley Park.
Although the flames remained in the laundry room - smoke filled the rest of the shelter, affecting over 100 animals.
They're not the only ones. The company Amaze Light Festival also owes money to local police and a company that installed decorations for the show.
