Every year there's a queen, and this year's honoree, Norah Doyle, joined us in studio earlier Thursday, complete with her sash and tiara.
A longtime Chicago St. Patrick's Day tradition, the South Side Irish Parade, returns for it's 45th year this Sunday. Every year a parade queen is chosen to represent the event. Nora Doyle, who grew up in Beverly and teaches Irish dance, will be this year’s parade queen.
It's being combined with an Irish flag ceremony in downtown Aurora.
Aurora is expanding its St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
