Chicago police said just after 11:30 p.m., two men were arguing on the sidewalk in the 500 block of North Leamington Avenue. Both pulled out handguns, and one of the men fired shots at two others who were in a group.

The three are due for a detention hearing on Tuesday.

Chicago police said the woman was arguing with a known offender around 9:12 a.m. in the 700 block of North Leamington Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood, who then entered a car and struck the victim.
The victim was taken by the Chicago Fire Department to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
