This crash-and-grab burglary is similar to many other recent crimes that are part of a trend in Chicago.
Police aren't officially saying these burglaries are believed to be connected yet, only saying they are investigating.
The burglary took place at Ford City Mall, in the West Lawn neighborhood, around 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
