The weekend's two latest homicides resulted from a mass shooting in the West Englewood neighborhood that left three more people injured late Sunday on the South Side.
The only fatal shooting of the weekend happened late Saturday at a bar in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
Two people were shot — one fatally — and two others were injured Monday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, fire officials said.

The body found in a suitcase left in a Roseland alley over the weekend has been identified as a 21-year-old woman from West Pullman.
The red suitcase was found in an alley in the 300 block of West 115th Street, not far from the sidewalk, next to a trash can, around 2 p.m. Sunday.

He was on the front porch of a home in the 200 block of West 112th Street about 9:45 p.m. when someone opened fire from a white SUV, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a 30-year-old man was shot in the Hhumboldt Park neighborhood. The man was walking around 8:15 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Maplewood Avenue when an unknown male walked up to him and shot him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.
The ages of the victims range from 20 to 44.
