A pregnant mother had sought an order of protection before she and her 11-year-old son were attacked in their Edgewater neighborhood home on Wednesday. The stabbing attack resulted in the boy's death.
The car was recovered shortly after near the 3300 block of West Devon Avenue, police said.
The robberies happened between Jan. 19 and Feb. 8 in the Bowmanville, Rogers Park, West Ridge, Irving Park, and Edgewater neighborhoods
