The most recent fatal shooting happened about 11:30 a.m. in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
The only fatal shooting of the weekend happened late Saturday at a bar in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The latest homicides happened within an hour of each other in Humboldt Park and Back of the Yards.
About 10:15 a.m., a man was shot to death in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The 24-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 0-100 block of North Keeler when someone walked up to him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
At 1:06 a.m., the 35-year-old was at a gas station in the 600 block of South Independence when he heard an argument, then heard gunfire and realized he'd been shot in the foot, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. The 55-year-old was shot in the back about 10 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 74th Street.
Most recently, a man was critically wounded in an Auburn Gresham neighborhood shooting.
A 56-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of South Troy about 9:15 p.m. when someone walked up to him and shot him multiple times in both legs, according to Chicago Police.
The homicide happened about 6:15 p.m. in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
