A 40-year-old man was killed and the girl was wounded in a shooting about 10 p.m. in the 7300 block of South University in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side, according to Chicago Police.
The man, thought to be in his 20s, was found at 3:57 a.m. lying on the ground unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the back in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt Road.
The 35-year-old woman was shot in the chest in the 1600 block of South Springfield about 10:45 a.m., according to Chicago Police.
The 34-year-old was shot multiple times about 12:20 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Grenshaw, according to Chicago Police.
The most recent homicide happened Tuesday night, when a 23-year-old man was shot to death in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.
The 16-year-old boy and 24-year-old man were walking to the store about 3:50 a.m. in the 3700 block of West Ogden when a vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
