A retired Chicago police officer and Oak Lawn resident has been charged with making threatening phone calls to officials investigating the death of Fox Lake Lieutenant Joseph Gliniewicz, according to the Lake County Sheriff.
Thomas Rudd told WBBM earlier this week Gliniewicz, 52, died of a single gunshot wound and died "fairly quickly." His office has not ruled out the possibility of suicide or accident, pending further forensic test results.
