Illinois Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold for the Nov. 30, 2024, drawing at the Citgo gas station at 44 E. Sibley Blvd.
The ticket matched all five white ball numbers along with the ticket's 3X multiplier to win the prize, lottery officials said.
So far this year, 11 Illinois players have won $1 million or more playing Powerball, lottery officials said.
The lucky winner purchased the winning ticket worth $750,000 at the Oak Park North Gas Mart at 6119 W. North Ave.
No one has matched all six numbers in the Powerball since May 31, allowing the jackpot to swell to $1.34 billion. Noel Brennan reports.
