On Friday, there was a minute-by-minute reenactment, with live gunfire, inside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida, five years after a mass shooting there killed 17 people. Families of some of the victims requested the reenactment as part of a lawsuit against the school's resource officer, who they said failed to act that day. Parents who lost their son in that tragedy are spreading their message to another community touched by gun violence: Highland Park.
Cooper Roberts, 9, was paralyzed from the waist down after the shooting.
Once again, they came together to move forward together as a community.

It was an emotional 4th of July for the Highland Park community, marking one year since a gunman killed seven people and injured dozens more at the annual parade. The city spent Tuesday remembering and moving forward.
"This doesn't end today. This is not just next year. This is lifetimes of impact. And so we as a community are going to be there for each other."
Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering realizes the healing process has no timeline, but she wants people to continue to lean on each other.
Moments after the ceremony, neighbors made their way to the community walk.
CBS 2's Jackie Kostek reports from Highland Park where a number of events are taking place to remember those killed last July 4th and how the community is honoring lives lost as well as reclaiming the space.
Once again, it is hard to count the number of times, a service closes with "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipe.
"This morning we remember those who were murdered and those whose lives were forever altered," Mayor Nancy Roetering said.
