A carjacking victim jumped out of a moving car early Friday on the Dan Ryan Expressway to escape his robbers.
At first only the right two lanes were closed. Eventually all lanes were shutdown.
They came out to march. Protesters organized and local police lined the streets.
Busloads of people from across the Chicago area are expected to meet at 79th and the Dan Ryan, then walk down the ramp onto the highway.
