Ice skating on the ribbon at Maggie Daley Park has already begun. On Friday, Nov. 24 – weather permitting – ice skating will also open for the other five outdoor Park District rinks.
The department is hosting its annual Fall Festival in Jefferson Park Sunday afternoon.
Kids and their families are invited to dress up in costumes to enjoy crafts and pumpkins.
The new fieldhouse is expected to open in early 2025.
Construction on the $7 million project starts in January.
