Officers responded to a person shot and found the unidentified victim, between 18-25 years of age, with multiple gunshot wounds to the body in the rear stairway of a residential complex.

Police said Aaron Collins was identified as the person who, on April 4, shot a 20-year-old woman who was working the window in the 8700 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
Aaron Collins, 34, was charged with one felony count of aggravated battery with discharge of a firearm and one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
Donnell Payne, 35, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with one felony count of attempted first-degree murder, one felony count of aggravated battery with discharge of a firearm, and one felony count of aggravated battery to a peace officer.
Dontrell Anderson was arrested in Wisconsin and extradited to Chicago.
