Burgos, 18, died in 2014 after someone fired shots into an apartment in Belmont Cragin while she was standing in the kitchen. Since the murder, police haven't named a suspect or arrested anyone.
The thefts happened between Sept. 9 and 11 in the early morning hours in Belmont Cragin and Irving Park.
Chicago police said the offenders entered targeted businesses and took tools, registers, and a safe. They also attempted to open an ATM at one of the businesses.
