Love comes in many shapes, forms, and even sizes. As CBS 2's Darius Johnson reported, there's a new bunch of rambunctious bursts of German Shepherd Labrador mixes at the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in west suburban Wheaton.
This weekend is National Adoption Weekend and the Animal Rescue Foundation in Wheaton is hosting a dog adoption event on Saturday at the Wheaton PetSmart.
Claire Goldenberg and Sandra Pattison from the Animal Rescue Foundation in Wheaton joined CBS 2 and brought along two adorable pups, who were just rescued a day ago from Texas.
There will be a Pup Pop-Up Event from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at PAWS Chicago's Lincoln Park Adoption Center.
Each Thursday, CBS 2 highlights pet rescue organizations in and around Chicago Betsy Moore is from PAWS Chicago and she's brought Marius to the studio.
The nonprofit's rescue van was recently totaled on the way to a rescue after hitting a large deer and they're looking for help in getting it fixed.
