Your Chicago: Jazzin' At The Shedd
CHICAGO (CBS) – It's an unbeatable combination to Maryann Pedone.
"It has everything," she tells CBS 2's Kate Sullivan. "Beautiful skyline. I love jazz. My favorite cocktails. Just great group of people."
Pedone is referring to "Jazzin' at the Shedd," which has been a Chicago summer highlight for 17 years.
The view of Chicago's skyline from the Shedd's rear patio is stunning. So is the music.
Pedone admits she didn't always love jazz. It was actually her son, Eric, who introduced her to the event six years ago.
"It's a cool bonding experience," he says.
Eric Pedone just started medical school but says he'll still take his mom to Jazzin'. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids.
It runs every Wednesday through Aug. 1.
