X-Rays On Rose Are Negative

Derrick Rose left the locker room following Monday's win hurting literally from head to toe. The Bull's star guard was wrapped like a mummy with ice packs all over the place.

It was a physical game in which the Bulls prevailed over the Pacers 92-73. It was also a game in which Rose went down from injury not once but twice. Rose turned an ankle in the 4th quarter and you could hear the crowd with a collective groan as the franchise player was in agony. Rose shook that one off and then moments later slashed to the basket and came down really hard in a nasty fall on his elbow and right wrist. Again he shook off the pain to shoot the two free throws and even finished the game on the court.

Rose did have X-Rays afterwards and they proved to be negative but the Bulls say he will be re-evaluated on Tuesday.

As for the game, it wasn't until a 19-4 run over the final 6 minutes that the Bulls pulled away late. Rose finished with a double double of 17 points and 12 assists while Carlos Boozer had a  huge game with 22 points and 18 rebounds.

The win was the Bulls 6th in a row (upping their record to 15-8) and next up is a game at Toronto on Wednesday.
