Wrigley Rules Ordinance Moves Past Council Hurdle
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A City Council committee has approved an ordinance that would put limits on the new open air plaza just outside Wrigley Field.
The ordinance would allow beer and wine sales on the plaza but would limit admission to the plaza to ticket holders on game days and concert days.
It also limits the hours of alcohol sales.

On other days, the plaza would be open to everyone.
The bill's sponsor, Ald. Tom Tunney, says the provisions would be re-visited in two years.
The Cubs maintain that the rules are too restrictive.
The ordinance will go before the full Council on Wednesday.
"This is a significant step forward on a reasonable agreement that will allow the Cubs to offer new opportunities to their fans, while maintaining a high quality of life for those who live in the neighborhood," Mayor Emanuel said in a statement.
