Wrigley Field Skating Rink Opening Delayed
CHICAGO (AP) — Maybe Wrigley Field should be called the Slippery Confines.
However, the planned opening of the skating rink at Wrigley has been delayed by unseasonably warm temperatures. It was supposed to open today, but will open in a few days once the weather turns colder, according to the Chicago Parks District, which runs the city's outdoor skating rinks
The full-size skating rink will be set up in the Cubs parking lot at the corner of Clark Street and Waveland Avenue, and will be open through Feb. 26.
The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children on Monday through Thursday and $10 for adults and $6 for children on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Season passes are also available and there will be skate rentals.
