Wright Fined For Hit On Webb
According to Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune, Bears' rookie safety Major Wright has been fined by the NFL for a hit in the victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
The undisclosed fine was the result of a fourth-quarter play. Wright was flagged for unnecessary roughness for a hit on Vikings quarterback Joe Webb. The penalty nullified a 59-yard interception return by Brian Urlacher.
As a first time offender, Wright's fine will most likely be around $5,000.
