Woman Stabbed In Gold Coast High-Rise
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was stabbed and critically injured early Friday in a Gold Coast high-rise.
Around 1:50 a.m., officers were called to the 11th floor of a building in the 1400 block of North Lake Shore Drive.
Upon arriving, they found a 33-year-old man standing on the ledge of his balcony.
They then found a woman inside who was stabbed in the neck.
The officers were able to talk the man back inside and took him into custody, police said. He has not been charged.
The relationship between the man and the woman was not immediately known.
