Woman Shot In Vehicle Near Navy Pier
(STMW) -- A 20-year-old woman was shot while riding in a vehicle near Navy Pier early Sunday in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
About 12:30 a.m., she was in the front passenger seat of a car in the 500 block of East Grand when someone started shooting from a vehicle behind them, according to Chicago Police. The woman was shot in the left calf.
The driver took her to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
