Woman Shot In Face, Man Wounded In Kenwood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman is in critical condition after being shot in the face in a shooting early Sunday that also injured a man in the South Side Kenwood neighborhood.
The 25-year-old woman was shot in the face in the 4600 block of South Lake Park Avenue about 2 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
She was taken in critical condition to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center and will likely to be transferred to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Greer said.
A man in his 20s was shot in the arm and taken to an unidentified hospital in good condition.
No one is in custody early Sunday and Central Area detectives are investigating.
