Woman Shot In Back In Grand Crossing In Critical Condition
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are investigating after a 58-year-old woman was shot in the back in Chicago's Grand Crossing neighborhood Saturday afternoon.
Around 12 p.m. the victim was standing on a porch talking with another person in the 1400 block of East 69th Place when police say two unknown men came from an alley and began shooting toward her.
She was taken in critical condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center with one gunshot wound to the back.
No one is in custody.
