Woman Shot During Argument On South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was hospitalized early Sunday after she was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
The woman, 19, was having an argument with several other people about 12:40 a.m. in the 7000 block of South Hermitage Avenue, according to police News Affairs.
A male in the group of people she was arguing with pulled out a gun and shot the woman in the ankle, police said.
She was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.
No one was in custody early Sunday.
Area South detectives are investigating.
