Woman Robs Third North Side Bank Since April

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman who was already suspected of robbing at least two North Side banks since April robbed a third on Wednesday afternoon.

The woman robbed the TCF Bank branch at 3531 N. Broadway at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to the FBI.

The woman entered the bank and handed a note to the teller, who gave her an undetermined amount of money, authorities said.

The woman escaped on foot after the robbery, police said.

The woman is also suspected of robbing the same bank on May 21.

On April 26, she robbed another TCF Bank branch a few blocks away at 5343 N. Broadway, according to the FBI.

No weapon was displayed during any of the robberies, and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a 35-year-old black woman, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 with dark skin, according to the FBI.
