CHICAGO (CBS) -- Crews have resumed searching for a second possible victim hours after a woman was pulled from Montrose Harbor on Monday.
A woman fell in Montrose Harbor around 2 a.m., and Chicago Fire Department and Police Marine Unit crews were able to pull her out and get her to a hospital, but another person also might have gone in the water.
The woman who was pulled out, who appeared to be in her 20s, was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Divers also searched the water for a second possible victim, but found no one else in the lake before calling off their initial search shortly before 3 a.m.
Police said rescue crews resumed surface searches for a second victim later Monday morning. Boats were performing surface searches every couple hours until the rainy weather clears and conditions permit divers to resume underwater searches.
