Woman Raped Near CTA Stop In West Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A young woman was sexually assaulted as she walked home from a CTA train stop in West Englewood.
Police said the attack happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday, near the Green Line station at 63rd Street and Ashland Avenue.
An 18-year-old woman told police she was leaving the Green Line stop, and when she got to 63rd and Marshfield Avenue, a man grabbed and raped her.
She was being treated at a local hospital Tuesday morning.
