Woman Plunges To Death From Sheridan Road High-Rise
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman is dead, after plunging from a high-rise on Sheridan Road in the East Lakeview neighborhood.
The woman, described as being possibly in her 50s, plunged from residential high-rise at 2909 N. Sheridan Rd., according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's office spokesman.
She was dead on the scene around 7 a.m.
The woman's identity is not being released as of 11:15 a.m., pending notification of family.
Further details about her death, including whether she fell from the building, were not immediately known.
Belmont Area detectives are conducting a death investigation.
