Woman Killed, Man Wounded In West Pullman Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was killed and a man was wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.
The shooting happened about 12:35 p.m. in the 11700 block of South Eggleston Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.
Natasha Green, 19, was shot in the head and taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:20 p.m., according to police the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg and listed in "stable" condition at an area hospital, O'Brien said.
No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
