Woman Killed In West Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was killed Saturday morning when the car she was driving on the West Side crashed into a tree.
The crash happened about 10:50 a.m. in the 700 block of South Kostner Avenue, police said.
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was pronounced dead on the scene after she crashed into the tree, police said. According to preliminary reports, police did not believe that anyone else was in the car.
The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating.
