Woman Killed In Hit And Run On Hubbard Street
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Chicago police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run.
The 55-year-old woman was struck and killed by an SUV as she stood on the corner of State and Hubbard.
Police said she was about to cross the street when a man in a silver Ford Explorer hit her. She was dragged about half a block and died at the scene. Officers tried to stop the SUV but the driver got away.
A second victim, a 20-year-old woman, was treated at Northwestern Memorial and released.
