Woman Killed After Crashing Pickup Into Median In Rolling Meadows
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (STMW) -- A Rolling Meadows woman was killed Tuesday night when the truck she was driving crashed into a median in the northwest suburb.
Tiffany Ensalaco, 34, was driving a blue 1994 Ford pickup southbound on Illinois Route 53 south of Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows just after 7 p.m., when she lost control of the vehicle and it drifted across the road into a concrete median, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
She was ejected from the pickup onto the northbound shoulder of Route 53, Illinois State Police said.
Ensalaco, of the 3700 block of Wren Lane in Rolling Meadows, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:22 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
One northbound lane and both southbound lanes of Route 53 were temporarily closed to traffic as a result of the crash.
