Woman Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car In Fulton River District
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A woman was hit by a car in the Fulton River District on Sunday afternoon.
CBS 2's crew was heading to the parking lot of the Jewel-Osco at 370 N. Des Plaines St., where there had been a carjacking early Sunday morning, when they came upon the woman sitting in the street at Desplaines and Fulton streets.
The woman's dog was nearby.
The driver did stop, and police questioned him. The woman who was hit was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
