Woman Found Stabbed To Death In Suburban Home
DES PLAINES, Ill. (STMW) - A woman was found fatally stabbed Monday at her residence in an unincorporated area near northwest suburban Des Plaines.
Alicia Ramirez, 45, of 442 W. Touchy Ave. in an unincorporated area near Des Plaines, was found dead at her residence with at least one stab wound, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. She was dead on the scene.
Cook County Sheriff's police are investigating the death and their investigation is ongoing Monday night, spokeswoman Liane Jackson said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, the medical examiner's office said.
