Woman Dead, Man Wounded In Grand Crossing Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are searching for a gunman who killed a woman and wounded a man in a drive-by shooting in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.
The man, 29, and the woman, believed to be in her 20s, were walking along the 1400 block of East 75th Street around 7:50 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman came by in a passing light-colored Jeep, police said.

The gunman fired shots, and the Jeep fled northbound, police said.
The unidentified woman was dead at the scene, according the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
The man was taken in to Jackson Park Hospital with and Medical Center, where he was reported in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg.
No one was in custody in the shooting as of Wednesday morning.
